Inspired by successful precincts like Rundle Mall in Adelaide, this project is focused on retaining the building’s heritage while delivering flexible, high-quality spaces suited to modern businesses. More than 170 years old, Bright & Hitchcock’s was once Victoria’s largest department store and remains a defining part of Geelong’s history and identity. Restoration of this iconic landmark, along with the neighbouring Moorabool Street shops, with construction well underway.
